Maijing (Pulse Classic) was written by Wang Shuhe in the 3rd century in the Western Jin Dynasty. It is composed of 10 volumes and 98 chapters, and is the oldest extant monograph on pulse diagnosis.

In this book, the author defines 24 types of pulse conditions based on summing up the preceding achievements on pulse palpation before the Wei and Jin dynasty.  Wang Shuhe was a director of ministry of the imperial physician.
